Sustainable campaign across top-tier and trade media to position the GIIN as thought leaders within the space.

We developed a strategic campaign to drive home the importance impact investing plays in the achievement of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. From Op-Eds to member profiles, press releases and proactive pitching, we put GIIN in the top tier media and kept it there.

Our Approach

If you called a journalist to talk about impact investing before we started working with The Global Impact Investing Network, you’d usually be given short shrift. Doing well by doing good seemed too good to be true. The GIIN wanted to change that. Aspectus’ brief wasn’t just to position the GIIN as a leader in impact investing, but to educate and persuade the world that impact investing was worth looking at in the first place.

We started by identifying the most relevant journalists and educating them about impact investing. We gradually widened the circle with interviews, research reports and opinion articles adding nationals and broadcast to niche trades for family offices and ESG investors.

“Aspectus did amazing work on this campaign. They were able to help us hone our ideas into a powerfully written, persuasive Op-Ed, and delivered outstanding results. The campaign was very well organized, and energetically rolled out.”
