At the start of 2017, Meritsoft tasked the Aspectus Capital Markets team to increase its brand presence in the top tier financial media and trade press.
Since being founded back 2001, Meritsoft had been seeking greater exposure in the financial press for its tax, fees, billing and commissions systems.
Our Approach
Create creative stories to support the Meritsoft product lines, with a focus on using real world analogies and topical themes to elevate post-trade and settlement issues. From comparing banks identifying discounts between their brokers with someone comparing different mobile phone rates between different plans on Vodafone and O2, to linking CSDR to Shakespeare, the Aspectus Capital Markets team has crafted opinion editorial pieces that made Meritsoft stand out in a crowded and competitive post-trade vendor space.

“Aspectus have been outstanding – they’re full of proactive ideas and the campaigns we’ve done have been great successes. They consistently come up with angles and get me speaking to the right journalists, which has made me very busy over the last three years!”
